SAD DAY…
Disclaimer: Don’t read this if you are looking forward to one of my usual upbeat, possibly funny blogs because it is not; but just as life itself, it can’t always be happy. Sorry to put you guys through this, but I really need to vent.
Due to some realizations I have come to both through the Beth Moore study I am doing (Loving Well) and life itself, I have been trying to be a more open person, and break down some of the walls I have built up. In other words, I just want to be a more real person all around.
Well, today I have hit a bump in the road. Someone that I really trusted has broken my trust for them before, but it wasn’t really a big deal because I didn’t tell him/her too much. Sadly my view of them has slowly started to…disintegrate, and today it…shattered!!
I just cannot believe how some people can be so inconsiderate, rude, down right “dirty”...I am at a loss for words to describe to you what I mean. The sad thing is is that this person calls him/herself a…Christian. I really didn’t want to say that in case a non-Christian reads my blog, but it’s the truth. So if you are a non- Christian please know that we do mess up to, but we are not all bad people. We are far from what God is and are to strive to be more like Him, but it is work.
Anyways, it was just a sad sad day, but I know that even this will work out for good. I know that through this God can teach me forgiveness among many other things. Praise the Lord, Halleluiah, Amen!!!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!

June is Full of Fun...
MY COUNTDOWNS
I am sooo excited for my roomie to come and visit. I have been to her house a TON of times, now she gets to come to mine. I can't wait for her to meet my family, riends, and Church family, and visa versa. We are going to have a blast!!!!

This is supposed to be a "special" birthday, but it feels like any other B-Day, and I don't mind. I know that I am going to have a fun time...and I don't even need alcohol for that. =]

I HATE this drive and I have to do it all the time, but it should be fun since Liz is driving with me. Once in So-Cal I have a few things planned that will be fun. I get to see some fam (sis, bro, niece, aunt, uncle, cuz'z ect.) I also get to see myy Mama Colleen, which I can't wait for, I miss her TONS, and hopefully I will get to see some other CBU peeps.

Ive been set up...
I don't usually blog and I certainly don't mobile blog very often but this is a special occasion. :) So its a long story some people in my life joke with me that im going to marry someone named Jared/Jarred and most of them are convinced im at least going to marry someone who's name at least starts with a J. Well today I went to the Christian book store with Ashley and I was looking at the name card thingys...you know with the meaning on it; because my beautiful Mama Colleena and I were talking about them on Friday. Anyways the are all in alphabetical order except 2. They were in a semi-empty row and right next to each other. Guess what they were...
VERY FUNNY... Liz you were there not too long ago did you set that up or call lol!!

Red Envelope!!!!!!!!
This is major. If enough people come together and do this, it would bring maaaaaajor awareness to politicians about our stance against abortion. Please please PLEASE check this out. And if you feel so led (and I strongly hope you do) send a red envelope to President Obama, and share this with everyone you know in any form you know how. Liz and I did!!! =)

Here is a way to let our new president hear our pro-life voices. It's a simple concept: just buy (or make out of construction paper) a red envelope, seal it up (yes, empty), address it to the president, and add this note on the back of the envelope: "This envelope represents one child who died in abortion. It is empty because that life was unable to offer anything to the world. Responsibility begins with conception."
You may wonder, "What good will this do?" No one but God can answer that, but the campaign reminds me of the "launcher" tactic used by William Wilberforce and others as they fought against slavery in the British Empire. It's a simple, peaceful way of drawing attention to an evil that needs to be changed. President Obama, as Chuck Colson noted in this BreakPoint commentary, is confused on this issue: he rightly believes that God does not support taking innocent life, yet he is staunchly pro-abortion.
Here's the address:

25 random things you might not know about me. =)
Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose at least 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you.
Well, i've been tagged a number of times, and I am finally giving in.
So, here I go...
1.My first name is French, my middle name is Irish, and my last name is Mexican.
2.I am more than ½ Mexican and Indian combined, but I have no color…. And I sunburn really bad…really easy!
3.My hair is naturally curly, and I usually hate that.
4.I’m not an open person and I don’t really know why. I also have a big problem confronting and saying no.
5.I love salty snacks more than sweet and I fall in and out of love with Cheez-its.
6.I play the flute, and used to play the Base Clarinet and I used to be in ColorGuard.
7.I was born two almost 3 month early they had to make sure my lungs were fully developed before they let my mom give birth to me.
8.I went to Russia this past summer and I miss it tons and hope to go back there someday.
9.I don’t like Burger King but I love their chicken fries, but they taste better when I eat them with my roomie. Lol!
10.I like to write poetry and stuff. But I don’t really like to blog, I have a lot of ideas for blog, but rarely do them; that drives my roomie insane.
11.My best friend/sister in the whole wide world is NICOLE MICHELLE EDNEY! I love her, my “bro in-law” and niece/ God Daughter.
12.When I need to tell people important things I write them out better than trying to say them.
13.I work at the CBU Counseling Center (it will be 2 Years on the 7th) and I love it. I love all the people I work with. Ask me who my favorite is…I don’t have one I have 36 (That’s including some that left us).
14.I am double majoring, I am taking 20 units this semester, and I think I am going to do a dual masters…I know I am crazy. (Dr. Lewis and Dr. Stokes are my fav. professor.).
15.I’m a “touchy feely” person, but for some reason I don’t like to cuddle (sorry Liz). Part of my “touch feelyness” (I like making up words) is that I love hugging people, but its awkward when people that know that, tell people that don’t know me, and they want a hug.
16.I really do have the “gift” of empathy…it sucks sometimes.
17.I talk in my sleep, usually when I am tired.
18.I have had lots of dreams come true…not in life, the kind you have when you sleep.
19.I LOVE LOVE LOVE kids, and I cant wait to have my own. I once raised preemie twins for 4 months…actually a pretty sad story.
20.I love Tweety Bird and Mickey Mouse…I hate Mini.
21.I want to write a bucket list.
22.I am allergic to citrusy things or things with lots of acid and I’m also allergic codeine.
23.People like my cell message and most of them start talking to it because they think I answered.
24.I finally have a mentor…and she is absolutely amazing!!! =)
25.I absolutely LOVE CBU and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. This year is the best year ever, even though academically and time wise it sucks. It has to be the best otherwise I might/ might have dropped out.

Well, theres more about me than you ever probably wanted to know. If not...ask away and maybe I will answer.
